PRICING

Probably the main reason you are here - never mind the actual service: show me the money! Of course, the PRICE of anything is of little relevance unless the VALUE of it is understood. Here's a quick example:

Imagine an employee spending 45 minutes a day using the internet for non-business related purposes. Sounds a lot? It’s only ten percent of a 7 ½ hour workday, roughly 6 minutes an hour. It’s easy to rack this time up by checking social media accounts, doing some on-line shopping or maybe planning a holiday or looking for a car or house – and never mind those YouTube cat videos, for goodness sake…

OK, so accepting that’s an entirely feasible scenario – and, in fact, we KNOW that it is a very common occurrence - have you calculated how many days from the work year that is?

45 mins a day
5 days’ a week
47 work weeks a year
23 ½ DAYS A YEAR. (That’s the equivalent of many employees’ annual paid holiday entitlement.)

So imagine having a managed web-filtering service that blocks access to social media, shopping, travel, etc., sites (other than supplier sites permitted for certain users for proper business use) during work hours and allows them only during staff lunch break?

We would imagine the value is way higher than the price/cost of around £ 1.50 per month per user.

Time Is Money Small

We like to be transparent on pricing, so here are our standard rates. However we will tailor actual pricing after an initial discussion and some fact-finding.

This is so that we can ensure the support and management package you sign up for suits your business operations model and IT assets based on factors like complexity, such as multi-sites, remote workers, server combinations, on-premises and cloud service integration and age of assets.

We also offer ad-hoc (also known as break/fix) and per-incident/support hours agreements, however they only resolve issues once they rear their head - it doesn't help you maintain a secure and productive IT infrastructure.

Anyone of these service elements can be added to other packages, and some can also be removed. On-site support can also be modified to a pre-agreed number of hours per month.

  • Basic web security for your Office - simple DNS filtering to block known malicious sites and email links

1 "Unlimited" is subject to reasonable limits - like a fair use policy.

Additional management/support services we offer:

  • Website Security: monitors your web site for unauthorised changes, hacking, malware injections and down time.
  • Email Security: fully managed email security, anti-spam, virus and malware gateway
  • Email Encryption: secure important or sensitive emails with encryption - either for specific emails before sending or automatically on-the-fly by trigger phrases set on the email gateway
  • Data Loss Prevention and Data Leak Protection (DLP): policy-based monitor, report and blocking of sensitive data from being sent outside the organisation

Now for the prices - probably what you really want to know. These are "rule of thumb" prices subject to age and quantity of devices and other commerical factors. All are based on support within business hours (except for planned patch and updates maintenance).

Ad-hoc Support

Remote: £60 per hour, minimum 30 minutes; billed in 30 minute increments rounded up.
On-site: £75 per hour, minimum 1 hour; billed in 1 hour increments rounded up.

Contract Support

Contract clients benefit both from rate discounts and lower minimum charges, which are nominally:

Remote Support: £50 per hour, minimum 15 minutes; billed to the nearest 15 minutes.
On-site Support: £65 per hour, minimum 30 minutes; billed to the nearest 30 minutes.

(Unless otherwise included in a client’s ITSM Agreement.)

Managed Services Agreements (based on minimum 12 month initial term)

Rule of thumb pricing based on:

  • PCs / laptops from £7.00 per month
  • Handhelds from £1.50 per month
  • Servers from £50.00 per month
